Our Readers' OpinionsEDITOR: There can be little doubt that the constituency of West St George has experienced an upward trajectory of growth and development over the past three decades. Across all of the communities, education remains ideal with the establishment of the largest and most costly secondary school, as well as being home to two medical colleges. Former Parliamentary Representatives Mike Browne (1994- 2010) and Cecil Mckie (2010-2020) were honoured for their total dedication to this development prior to during and after their political sojourn. Patricia Barker was honoured for her total dedication to administrative work and tiling in the vineyard to ensure development remained central, particularly for women and, by extension, all residents. Honorees Barker and Mckie were on hand at the West St George Secondary School to receive their recognition plaques, while Browne (mourning his sister’s passing) assigned Ettie Rowers to accept his plaque.
