Even while the St Vincent and the Grenadines Port Authority has received the keys to the new port facility, Prime Minister, Dr Ralph Gonsalves said some changes will soon be made to the functions of the Authority. He explained that while the SVG Port Authority will still exist, it will no longer own facilities. Once the new Bill is passed in parliament, the role of the SVG Port Authority will be “ to regulate all ports in the country”.
