On arrival, CPL Williams opened the front door, which was not secured, after receiving no response while knocking. When he entered the house, Williams saw Bobb lying on a bed covering and appeared to be sleeping. CPL Williams touched his leg and identified himself and the party of police officers. He read and showed Bobb a search warrant, then informed him of their duties. After the ammunition was shown to him, CPL Williams pointed out the offence of unlicensed ammunition to Bobb and cautioned him.
