Disqualified driver who fled scene of crash sentenced
['Chloe Tuff']
Swindon Advertiser | News
Finley Rose, 25, of Argyle Street, Stratton St Margaret, pleaded guilty to being the driver of a vehicle involved in a road accident who failed to report that accident, failing to stop after a road accident, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance at Swindon Magistrates Court on Thursday, September 11.
On Saturday February 22, Rose was driving a Peugeot Partner van along Cricklade Road despite previously being disqualified from driving, which also meant he did not have a valid insurance policy.
His van collided with a white Mercedes B200, causing damage to the car, and the 25-year-old fled the scene.
He must complete 20 rehabilitation activity days working with the probation service and 120 hours of unpaid work within 12 months.
Rose has been disqualified from driving for 27 months.
