The 66-year-old man was travelling along the Oasis underpass and Western flyer off Hawksworth Way at around 2.45pm on July 7. Police say he was approached by two women who asked him for money before taking him to a nearby location and pushing him to the ground. An unspecified amount of cash was stolen from the victim during the incident. Two local women in their 40s have been arrested on suspicion of robbery. “This was a really horrible incident in which a vulnerable member of our community was targeted and subjected to a very upsetting ordeal.
