There are major delays on the A419 northbound at Swindon between Blunsdon and the White Hart Roundabout due to an obstruction during the afternoon of Tuesday, September 23. Slow queues have formed on the route, causing delays of up to half an hour against expected journey times during rush hour. National Highways expects normal traffic conditions to return between 5pm and 5.30pm. The AA has warned drivers to expect significant delays when heading northbound on the A419. It said: “Partially blocked and queueing traffic due to obstruction on the road on the A419 northbound from A361 Highworth Road to A4311 Cricklade Road.”
