North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service responded to the blaze, located in a bedroom on the second floor of a home in Beverley Road, at 12.27pm on Monday (September 22). A service spokesperson said: “All persons were out on arrival. “One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire. “A thermal camera was used for checks and the property was ventilated.”
