Inverness Courier News
Castlehill Care Home.
The BBC Disclosure programme on Castlehill Care Home, run by Morar Living, aired last night and showed residents, including some suffering from dementia, in a state of distress.
Leadership, staff, residents’ wellbeing, and care and support provision were graded ‘weak’Concerns about Castlehill became public in October last year when the Care Inspectorate issued an enforcement notice because leadership, staff, support for residents’ wellbeing, and how well care and support are provided all graded “weak”.
Despite that, admissions to Castlehill Care Home were suspended by the Highland Health and Social Care Partnership until further improvements are made with a Halloween deadline set by the Care Inspectorate.
The provider of Castlehill Care Home has not met those standards.
