Inverness Ice Centre have revealed that they are more than a third of the way to their fundraising goal of £250,000. Skaters, hockey players, curlers and Ice Centre management came together to launch the fundraising efforts last month. That came off the back of a groundwell of community support for the facility, and similarly strong efforts have been made towards Inverness Ice Centre’s £250,000 goal. The 3 Peaks Challenge brought in a further £7000, with the Ice Centre’s JustGiving currently sitting at £1003. Inverness Ice Centre hosts major events in the Highland capital, like Strictly Inverness, as well as being home to sports like ice skating, ice hockey and curling.
