Additionally, the officials advise holidaymakers to have a backup plan in place for accessing important information, including accommodation details, flight information, passport number, emergency contacts, and any insurance policies. With the rise in travel scams, theft, and changes to travel norms including the Entry/Exit System in Europe and the Schengen Area, the Foreign Office reminds passport holders and eager holidaymakers to check their documents twice, and make sure they have everything they need for their destination of choice.
