Holiday homes U-turn after applicant calls for review
[]
Inverness Courier News
Planning permission has been approved for two new holiday lodges in Daviot.
In a meeting with the Planning Review Committee today, it was decided that the proposed short-term lets would be granted planning permission after previously being denied.
Following a discussion, it was concluded that to address this concern they would draw up a condition to ensure that the lodges could only be used as tourist accommodation.
The planning permission was then granted but with two conditions - to ensure the properties were only used as tourist accommodation and a landscape plan should be created to limit the environmental impact.
