At the Connected Africa Summit 2025, Safaricom unveiled a plan to invest over Ksh.64, Billion ($500 million) in AI infrastructure across East Africa over the next three years.
The initiative aims to enhance connectivity, build a robust and scalable AI ecosystem, and position the region as a global player in the digital economy.
