A rare Austin-Morris J Type milk float, which was built at some point in the 1950s, has been entered into the Charterhouse auction of classic & vintage cars on Thursday, October 23, at The Haynes Motor Museum in Yeovil. First registered in 1956, this rare Austin-Morris J Type rolled off the production line with a cab and a chassis and was then fitted with the specialist milk float back by a company in Poole. A milk float from 1956 is set to be auctioned off in a Somerset motor museum. Estimated at £12,000-14,000, this British-built and designed Austin-Morris J Type milk float will no doubt appeal to collectors of light commercial vehicles and museums alike. Charterhouse are inviting further entries for this specialist vintage and classic car auction on October 23.
