Westfield Post Office, in Stiby Road, will be temporarily closed starting from Thursday, October 16 at 10pm for “extensive work”. It is due to re-open and resume services on Friday, November 28 at 7am. During the interim, alternative branches will include Orchard Street Post Office, at 155 Huish and Sandhurst Post Office at 59 West Coker Road. Tracey Newton-Crofts, Post Office partner account manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work. “The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it is necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
