The performance will take place as part of a Choral Evensong service on Sunday, October 5, at 3pm, at Stogumber Church. The choir, who rarely perform outside its own cathedral, was secured for the visit by residents Doug and Shirley Forsyth. The couple bumped into the person in charge of music at the cathedral during a visit earlier this year and persuaded him to visit the church. Stogumber Church hosts Evensong on the first Sunday of every month, with its own choir. However, the upcoming service provides a unique opportunity for people to hear the Wells Cathedral Choir.
