ESSENTIAL repairs on a Wester Ross bridge are due to begin later this month, and last for approximately seven weeks. BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are set to carry out essential bridge maintenance works on the A835 Inchbae Bridge near Garve, from September 29 for approximately seven weeks. Works involve concrete repairs, replacement of bridge deck waterproofing, road surfacing, road markings and installation of new expansion joints. For the safety of workers and road users, a 30-mph speed limit will be in place for the duration of the works. Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s north-west representative said: “This refurbishment project will see Inchbae Bridge on the A835 refurbished with new waterproofing, surfacing and expansion joints.
