The move follows backlash from local communities after the electricity network had proposed the temporary closure of a 4.7-mile stretch of the A832 near Dundonnell this winter. Over 700 people signed a petition against the planned road closure, branding it “unworkable.”The petition organised by Lisa Stewart stated: “The A832 is a vital lifeline road. A series of in-person engagement sessions will take place in October, with event details to be shared in due course.
