The Strathpeffer Community Park project was kickstarted in a bid to provide better facilities for local young people. The Marion Munro Highland Dancers, who helped fundraise for the park, came to try it out for themselves! The project team said it wanted to give a big shout out “to the wonderful and energetic Marion Munro Highland Dancers” who raised an amazing £230 for the park from dance displays this year. Gavin Scott, chair of the Strathpeffer Residents’ Association and Community Park Project, said of the event: “Honestly it was brilliant. The fundraising initiative brought people together and helped raise awareness of the ongoing park project.
