Highland Heroes recognises the contribution they make with the volunteer of the year award. The Cairngorm Group is sponsoring the volunteer of the year award for 2026. “This is a wonderful opportunity to recognise and thank an unsung hero who is truly making a difference in your community.”There are 14 categories open for nomination. Our judges will whittle down your nominations to create a shortlist which will be published next year and you will be able to vote for your Highland Heroes 2026. In addition to the main categories, a very special award is also presented.
