Hôtel du Temps Madrid is born of Yoan and Jen Marciano, creators of the legendary Hôtel du Temps in Paris, who decided to start a new life in the Spanish capital with their children. It was love at first sight with the building in Malasaña —“Malasaña reminded me of Pigalle" – and after eight months of renovating a former hotel right on Calle Barco, almost at the corner of Gran Vía and with the Telefónica building watching over it, the Marcianos’ opened Hôtel du Temps Madrid. The jewel of the house is the rooftop suite, a kind of detached cottage with a private terrace where the silence is resounding, even though we are just steps away from Gran Vía, the second busiest shopping street in Europe.
