The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) has released its new Talent Agency Checklist for creators, an industry information sheet for the national influencer marketing sector. The checklist, developed by AiMCO’s Creator Advisory Council and the Talent Managers Working Group, has been created for Australian creators and influencers looking to sign with a talent agency for representation. Available exclusively to AiMCO members, the checklist aims to help creators ask the right questions during negotiations with talent agencies, while also brokering appropriate remuneration and career support. “A talent agency checklist was one of the first items on our to-do list as a committee, as it is well overdue for the nation’s growing creator scene,” AiMCO Creator Advisory Council member and CEO of Spawnpoint Media, Jordan Barclay said. “This checklist is designed to ensure creators are entering fair and beneficial agreements, particularly regarding contracts, fees and industry connections.
