Credlin, The Bolt Report, Alan Jones and more will begin officially airing on TV in regional Australia. After announcing its intentio to launch a 24 hour regional news channel earlier this year, Sky News Regional will officially launch on August 1st in parts of NSW, Victoria, Queensland and SA. According to Sky News, the channel will focus on live breaking news, weatherm national affairs and sport. Sky News Regional will feature a new live breakfast program, Sky News Breakfast hosted by Jaynie Seal and Samantha Chiari from 6:00am on weekdays. Paul Whittaker (pictured), chief executive of Sky News Australia said: “Australians’ demand for credible, live and accurate information has never been greater and I am pleased we can continue to provide regional viewers with access to our quality news, weather, sport and analysis from Australia’s best commentators on our new channel, Sky News Regional.
