comedian and inadvertent ladies man, Pete Davidson, has made his Super Bowl commercial debut for food brand, Hellmann’s, in which he cops a sacking from former NFL linebacker, Jerod Mayo. Naturally, Mayo decides to poleaxe the Saturday Night Live star anyway, to which Davidson responds, “I get it, I’m very hittable”. “It was the coolest, I can’t believe that I got to be in it,” Davidson told People. A 30-second spot for the condiment brand’s “MAYO x MAYO Food Waste Tackling Team” campaign will debut during the third quarter of the upcoming Super Bowl LVI on February 13. That said, if Hellmann’s latest commercial is any indication, Davidson is more than happy to join in the fun and practise some self-deprecation like the rest of us.
