AGL has reportedly given independent agency Big Red its creative account after a number of competing agencies pulled out of contention. The demerger process has become a long and drawn out affair, causing disruptions for AGL and leading to sweeping changes such as the creative account going begging. Big Red themselves have gone through changes of late, after the termination of a longstanding relationship with Coles earlier this year. In a way, the two companies are practically made for each other! Big Red’s portfolio includes Optus, BHP, Coles and Virgin Australia.
