Kids’ cartoon Peppa Pig is getting with the times, introducing its first lesbian couple in the latest episode that’s just aired in the UK. Apparently the decision to introduce a same-sex couple follows years of calls for more LGBTQIA+ characters on the show. Peppa Pig airs in some 180 countries, however, it remains unclear if the new episode will play in more conservative territories. Penny declares: “I’m Penny Polar Bear.
