Highly Dubious Study Claims Half Of Travelling Aussies Would Give A Gift Of Tim Tams
['Staff Writers']
B&TB&T
A new study, presumably commissioned by Arnott’s, has ‘miraculously’ found that half of Australians say they would pack the fabled chocolate biscuit in their suitcase for gifting when visiting friends and family overseas.
The study went further, declaring 49 per cent of Australians would consider giving a gift of Tim Tams this Christmas.
Residents of capital cities are more likely than regional residents to pack Tim Tams (54 per cent versus 44 per cent.)
The study also found that 58 per cent of Australians say they’ve given a gift of Tim Tams at the office Kris Kringle.
On top of all this hogwash, the brand has also announced you can now buy a tin of individually wrapped Tim Tams (lead image) at your local Coles for $24.
