EARLSWOOD Town saw their 10-game unbeaten run in all competitions come to an end following a 4-1 defeat against league leaders Northfield Town. Goals from James Ward, Charlie Green, Chris Tabberner and Jack O’Donnell brought an emphatic end to Earlswood’s unbeaten run. Northfield broke the deadlock after just 16 minutes when Ward met a cross from the right with a diving header at the back post. The league leaders all but sealed the points on 55 minutes when substitute Tabberner beat the offside trap and fired through the legs of Earlswood’s debutant goalkeeper Alexey Dallaway. And Northfield struck again on 67 minutes as substitute O’Donnell turned home Kurtis Wood’s cross from the right.
