Also on September 28th, 2025, Instagram user penitentpropagandist posted an image following the trend in which Ghostface stalks the protagonist of the video game Blasphemous, The Penitent One, the description reading, "The 'Ghostface AI" trend is cringe, but exposes a deeper, more disturbing cringe among some modern women – fetishizing murderers," garnering over 1,300 likes in two days.
