Washington started the season as the Angels manager, but stepped down due to health concerns. Montgomery stepped into the manager's role in Washington's absence. He was a long-time coach for the Athletics before he became the manager of the Texas Rangers from 2007-2014. The San Francisco Giants, Texas Rangers and Minnesota Twins could all be landing spots for Washington.
