Proposals for a dozen new houses in New Cumnock outlined in blueprints
['Stuart Reid']
Cumnock Chronicle | News
The plans show that the 12 homes could be created on land on Burnfoot Road.
An access road would be created from the B741 Burnfoot Road, with private parking for all of the developments.
A site assessment report describes the history of the land, which was previously used by Bank School.
It says: "The site remained undeveloped until a school, church and houses were established in the latter part of the 19th Century.
"The church was subsequently demolished and, by 1953, the school had expanded to cover a large portion of the site.
