Swiss food technology company Planted has expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of a new range of plant-based comfort foods. The “Crispy” lineup includes planted.schnitzel, planted.burger Crispy, and planted.nuggets, designed to replicate traditional comfort foods in a plant-based format. The new product range is the first from Planted to feature mycoprotein, cultivated through a natural fermentation process that requires minimal land, water, and energy. According to Pascal Bieri, co-founder of Planted, “Breaded products are one of the strongest categories in the convenience segment.
