YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Healthy Community Partnership of the Mahoning Valley continues to impact local communities by helping to make them healthier and more equitable.
“The partnership between Guin Fit and Healthy Community Partnership is truly a win-win,” said Kelley Frazier, the YSU program’s manager.
The Healthy Food Action team also supported the efforts of Choffin Career & Technical Center to develop a school food hub.
The HCP and the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley brought Climate Fresk to the Mahoning Valley, a workshop about what is driving climate change and how to solve it.
“What makes the Healthy Community Partnership special is how people come together for the good of the Mahoning Valley and surrounding areas,” said Lola Lewis, resident leader and Mahoning County co-chair for HCP’s steering committee.
