She recently founded Rooted 23, a nonprofit organization dedicated to mental health awareness, connection, and what she calls “little nudges of hope.”ADVERTISEMENT“This isn’t about reinventing the wheel,” Larson says. Its mission is to connect existing mental health resources, amplify their impact, and offer everyday reminders of hope. “While we pack these items, we also open space for real talk — about mental health, recovery, grief, and hope. Rooted 23 will also host its first major fundraiser, “Don’t Stop Believin’,” on Nov. 1 at Granite Springs Lodge. She envisions it parked outside places like Avera, making mental health support as accessible as a cup of coffee.
