KOB 4 is partnering with Rebuilding Together Sandoval County on Tuesday, Sept. 30, for a Pay it 4ward Hotline, to benefit an organization helping low-income New Mexico families with critical health and safety repairs in their homes, including accessibility issues. Rebuilding Together Sandoval County helps elderly people, people who have lost a spouse, veterans and others in need. These people are often just one repair or one necessary upgrade, like a roof replacement or a wheelchair ramp, away from losing the stability of the homes they’ve lived in for decades. Since its founding in 1999, as “Christmas in April,” they have completed more than 350 home repair projects.
