Walt Disney Animation Studios has officially released the exciting new trailer for “Zootopia 2,” the highly anticipated sequel to the 2016 hit movie “Zootopia.” The new film features an original song, “Zoo,” performed by Shakira, who reprises her role as Gazelle, Zootopia’s beloved pop star. The trailer introduces fresh characters and reveals a hidden reptile population within Zootopia. The song “Zoo,” written by Ed Sheeran, Blake Slatkin, and Shakira, and produced by Blake Slatkin, Alex Castillo (A.C.), Shakira, and Ed Sheeran, is set to release on Friday, October 10. The full “Zootopia 2” soundtrack, with an original score by Academy Award® winner Michael Giacchino, will be available on Friday, November 21. “Zoo” is expected to captivate audiences as much as the original hit song “Try Everything,” which has amassed over 2.7 billion streams worldwide since 2016.
