Thousands of models from a luxury car line sold in Australia have been urgently recalled due to a critical defect, which the consumer watchdog says could increase the risk of serious injury or death. The recall notice covers Ford Mustangs made between 2022 and 2025, stating the models may have suffered a manufacturing defect impacting the vehicle’s lights. In a statement, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) said the Body Control Module (BCM) of Ford Mustangs made in that period may be susceptible to water leakage.
