A recent large gathering in North Berwick resulted in the creation of an East Lothian Friends of Palestine group. This would also give them the chance to ask Mr Alexander why he is not fulfilling his obligation to them by reflecting their views in Parliament. In response, Mr Alexander said he was now looking to set up a meeting online. He said: “Earlier this month, a group of constituents contacted me to request that I hold a public meeting on the conflict in Gaza. "I have now replied to them to confirm that I will organise a public meeting in the coming weeks.
