The Revenue Hearing follow weeks of Expenditure Hearings, which allowed government ministries and agencies to defend their spending plans for the upcoming fiscal year. Myers emphasized that the hearings serve as a critical platform in shaping a realistic and credible national budget. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring an open and participatory budget process, stressing that the collective contributions of revenue-generating agencies are essential to financing Liberia’s development priorities in FY 2026.
