Kurdistan authorities to auction assets of Shaswar Abdulwahid’s Chavi company within 30 days

HEWLÊR-Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan region,— The Kurdistan Regional Government’s Ministry of Finance has announced the sale of 60 properties belonging to the Chavi Company, owned by opposition figure Shaswar Abdulwahid.
In a statement published on the ministry’s official Facebook page, authorities released detailed information on each property, including type and location.
According to the notice, the properties are being sold to recover debts owed by Chavi Company and its subsidiaries to Sulaimani Bank/1.
Court documents show that 79 complaints have been filed against him, mostly from shareholders of Chavi Land.
Additional claims were submitted by individuals and institutions affiliated with the Kurdistan Regional Government.
