Spread the loveBy Our ReporterThe Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions on key routes in Victoria Island ahead of the Electric Powerboat Racing Championship (E1 Series), scheduled to take place from Saturday, October 4, to Sunday, October 5, 2025.
The event, which will be Africa’s first electric powerboat race, will be held on the Lagos Inland Waterways by Victoria Island Lagoon.
Ajah to CMS motorists may take Abraham Adesanya to Ogonbo Road, then Okun Ajah Road, linking Coastal Road to Ahmadu Bello Way, Independence Bridge, and Onikan.
Motorists from Lekki to Ikoyi/Mainland can take Admiralty Way to Lekki Link Bridge, then Alexander Road, Bourdillon Way, Gerrard Road, and Osborne Road.
Lekki to CMS motorists can connect Yesufu Abiodun to Oniru Road, then Aboyade Cole Road to Ligali Ayorinde, Eko Hotel Roundabout, and Ahmadu Bello Way.
