As Antigua and Barbuda makes preparations to host two major international events; Exercise Tradewinds 2026 and the 28th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). The Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) has been actively engaged in critical planning sessions with local, regional, and international partners. 🔹 Exercise Tradewinds, scheduled for June 3rd–17th, 2026, is a multinational security and disaster response exercise involving Caribbean nations and international allies. It is designed to strengthen regional security, enhance humanitarian response capabilities, and improve interoperability among participating forces. 🔹 CHOGM 2026, set for November 1st–4th, 2026, will bring leaders from across the Commonwealth to Antigua and Barbuda, marking a historic occasion for our twin-island nation.
