Two men have appeared in court following the discovery of a cannabis farm in Armagh on Monday. Piotr Koziowski (30), of Mullacreevie Park, Armagh, and Audrius Lapenas (29), of Cathedral Road, also Armagh, appeared before the city’s Magistrates’ Court, sitting in Newry, on Tuesday. Lapenas was charged with cultivating cannabis, dishonestly using electricity, and possessing a prohibited weapon, namely pepper spray. The vehicle was searched under warrant and, during the course of the search, a number of documents were recovered concerning the property on Cathedral Road. The court also heard that Koziowski had signed the tenancy agreement for the Cathedral Road property and that he had sublet it to Lapenas.
