A Detroiter accused of killing two men in Hazel Park more than three years ago has been found guilty of the murders and related criminal charges. Matthews and Jacobs were sitting in a car when they were approached by a group of men, including Martin, who fired into the vehicle. Martin was also convicted of two counts of conspiracy to commit murder, four counts of felony firearm, and being a habitual offender-third offense. First-degree premeditated murder is punishable by life in prison without parole. For Hicks, two counts of first-degree premeditated homicide and conspiracy to commit murder were dismissed.
