It was part of a wider operation as Serious Organised Crime (SOC) officers carried out early morning raids at four addresses in Newport and Cwmbran today (Tuesday 30 September). Two women, aged 18 and 54, from Cwmbran and two men, aged 24 and 50, from Newport were arrested on suspicion of drug offences. During the warrants, officers seized drugs, cash, and other items. Police said the impact of serious and organised crime is far reaching, affecting communities and leaving the most vulnerable at risk. They added they remain committed to tackling those who flood communities with drugs and cause harm.
