Interestingly, Lithuania’s homicide rates are relatively high, yet only 2.7% of residents reported local crime, illustrating how perceived safety does not always match statistics. For Greece, the data underscores the importance of strengthening local safety measures and raising awareness among citizens. Meanwhile, Croatia continues to enjoy some of the highest levels of safety in Europe, both in perception and reality.
