Disneyland will close eight attractions for seasonal refurbishments as the Anaheim theme park resort enters the heart of the Halloween season that has become one of the most popular times of the year. Traffic on the Rivers of America at Disneyland will be disrupted with the Sailing Ship Columbia out of commission on Oct. 1-2, Oct. 6-9 and Oct. 13-16. “Mickey’s PhilharMagic” 3D concert film in DCA’s Hollywood Land will be closed Oct. 6-30 for a nearly four-week refurbishment. King Arthur Carrousel in Fantasyland at Disneyland will be down for a single day of minor refurbishment on Oct. 7. The “Fantasmic” nighttime spectacular on Disneyland’s Rivers of America will be dark Oct. 1-2, Oct. 6-9, Oct. 13-16, Oct. 20-23 and Oct. 27-30.
