The Micheaux Film Festival will run from October 23–26 at The Culver Theatre.
A multicultural film festival based in Los Angeles, California, the Micheaux Film Festival is showcases and celebrates diverse representation in the entertainment landscape.
The festival is inspired by the legacy of Oscar Micheaux (1884–1951), a pioneering African American author and filmmaker.
This year’s festival features the World Premiere of Tari Wariebi’s series Remember.
Also, the Los Angeles Premiere of the feature documentary It’s Dorothy.
