TRY THIS METHOD FOR BOILING EGGSDear Heloise: Regarding hard-boiled eggs, I’ve had a terrible time with them over the years and have tried several different methods. Once it’s boiling, take the eggs out of the refrigerator and gently place them in the pan of boiling water, being careful not to burn yourself of course. Then cover and continue to boil for 14 minutes. After 14 minutes, put the cooked eggs in the ice water and let them sit there for about 14 more minutes. -- Bill, in St. LouisTWO HANDY HINTSDear Heloise: I have been reading “Hints From Heloise” for many years and have used many of them.
