Investigators were familiar with Niedosik, who was found in 2024 in possession of explosive materials, Mancuso said. In an interview with investigators, Niedosik allegedly admitted to igniting hydrogen balloons. Bomb technicians also found a propane tank in the dining room with tape and a large dent, which appeared to be from explosion damage, court records state. Niedosik is due back in court for a preliminary hearing tentatively scheduled for 10 a.m. Oct. 1 before Anzini.
