On Friday (September 26), Tacoma police officers responded to reports of an “unresponsive 12-year-old male” at a senior living complex on South Lawrence Street at around 3 p.m.
The boy, identified as Preston Hemingway‑Lux, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Residents of Vintage at Tacoma, the senior living community where the body was reportedly found, expressed shock over the incident.
